Another bright clear morning. At least at 7:30am. A good time for a walk with Roof-Dog Sam. If she doesn’t get a good few miles under her collar every day, she will get fat just sitting up there all day. It’s not bad for the helmsman too. Took the chance to back track to look at a couple of interesting vehicles I spotted yesterday. An old Foden truck and a digger, some form of JCB forerunner. (You can tell I am not an old digger aficionado). Here’s a useless bit of trivia. I went to school in Sandbach, the town where Foden trucks were made.

 

Decided to go looking for what looked like a disused railway for the route back. It was there. But not a popular route. Note to self. Don’t wear shorts next time you do that.
